Picture Tag!

So I got tagged twice on the same day for the same thing. So I am going to do them both in the same post. The first one was Picture Tag- find the 4th picture in your 4th folder, then tag 4 people. The second one I got was 6-6-5 Tag- find the 6th picture in your 6th folder then tag 5 people. So if I tag you, just pick either Picture Tag or 6-6-5 Tag!

This picture was the 4th picture in my 4th folder. This is Makenna at 7 months old. Isn't she so cute!

This was the 6th picture in my 6th folder. This is me and Makenna this past summer at Island Park!
Now I Tag:
Brianne
Kate
Tibett
Michelle
Brooke

SWEETHEART TAG!

SWEETHEART TAG The rules are posted at the beginning. Each person answers questions about their sweethearts. At the end of the post, the person then tags 6 people and posts their names; then goes to their blog and leaves them a comment, letting them know they have been tagged.
What is your husbands name? Dallin Price
How long have you guys been married? 6 years
How long did you date? About 2 years
How old is he? 27 and not getting any younger!
Who is taller? Dallin by far, a whole foot taller.
Who can sing best? I don't think you want to hear either of us sing.
Who is smarter? Dallin for sure, he knows everything.
Who does laundry? Me! I don't know if Dallin has ever tried.
Who pays the bills? Me! It would stress Dallin out.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Dallin
Who mows the lawn? Dallin. I have never even tried.
Who cooks dinner? Me! But Dallin will help if I ask him too.
Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Either one, depending on the situation.
Who kissed who first? It was Dallin's idea. (I think you can attest to that Kim!)
Who wears the pants? I honestly don't know, we decide on things together.
Now I TAG Kim, Becky, Lorraine, Erin, and Loni.

Happy Birthday Makenna!!

Our little princess, Makenna, turned three on Sunday! I can't believe how fast time goes by. It seems like just yesterday she was born and now she is turning three. She is such a sweet little girl who brightens our life each day. I can't believe how much she has learned in her short three years. I always say to her, "You're so cute" and she will say to me, "No, I'm not cute, I'm beautiful!" I can't imagine life without her!

She has been so excited to have her birthday party. We invited over our family and had a fun birthday celebration on Saturday night. I asked her what kind of birthday cake she wanted and she requested Hello Kitty! So, that's what I attempted to make and I think it turned out pretty cute. Makenna requested pizza for dinner, then we ate cake and ice cream, and then opened presents. (Makenna's favorite part of the night!) What a fun birthday!

Makenna and her Hello Kitty birthday cake!

Here's Makenna blowing out her candles.

Here is Makenna with her Grandma's and Grandpa's.

Opening presents

Makenna got a new baby doll that laughs and cries and moves it's head and arms. This is Makenna and her cousin Matt getting a good laugh every time the doll would shake its head! It was pretty funny.

Makenna was spoiled this year. Here she is with all her new birthday toys. She got a new table and chair set from Grandma and Grandpa Ballard, a cute cash register to play store with from Grandma and Grandpa Price, a Barbie and coloring book from Brandon, Aimee, Matt, and Maren, some fun books and puzzles from Great Grandma Davis, and her baby doll with accesories from Mom and Dad. Oh, and Alise and Dale gave her that cute outfit she is wearing when they were here last weekend!

Here is Makenna on her birthday eating her birthday breakfast. I told her I would make her anything she wanted and she chose scrambled eggs with cheese!

I saved a few presents for her to open on her actual birthday. She got some new clothes for herself and some new clothes for her baby doll!

Pumpkins Anyone?

So our garden turned out to be one big pumpkin patch this year. We ended up getting 27 pumpkins! It all started with what we thought were a bunch of zucchini plants that sprouted up from last year. Well it turned out that they weren't zucchini after all. Yep, they were all pumpkin plants. No zucchini for us this year. They started spreading like crazy that eventually I could barely even walk in the garden. I didn't expect this many, but once we started picking them there just seemed to be more and more. So if anyone needs any pumpkins, come on over!!

Makenna's first ballet class

Makenna has alway said "I want to take ballet some day." Well that day finally came. I signed Makenna up for a ballet class and yesterday was her first day. She absolutely loved it! It was hillarious to watch as she tried to follow along. Although I have to admit she is pretty good at twirling on her tippy-toes.
Here is Makenna as we are getting ready to leave for her first ballet class.

Here is Makenna warming up.

Most of the pictures I got were of the back of her, but I thought this one was cute!

Here is Makenna's famous twirl!
