This is how Makenna likes to dress when she is "Going to space". Don't ask me how she comes up with these ideas.
Lately Makenna won't go to bed without sleeping in a "tent". So our new bedtime routine is making her a "tent" out of blankets for her to sleep under. And believe me, she won't let us forget it either!
Here are the sunflowers that Makenna planted with Daddy's help at he begining of summer. She was so excited when they finally blossomed! They are even taller than Daddy! These pictures were actually taken a couple of weeks ago and so they are now dying. This morning Makenna said to me "What happened to my sunflowers?" and I told her they were dying and she said, "I don't want them to go to heaven with Jesus, I want them to stay with me." I couldn't help laughing even though she was seriously on the verge of crying. Silly Makenna!

I totally where she gets her imagination, remember when we used to pretend the car was an airplane because of someones (your) husband's imagination? Oh yeah, the "good old days!"

I think Makenna is so cute! I love hearing the funny things kids come up with. She sure does have a great imagination! So fun!
